Nicole Bauthier is a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Equity Research department with 8 years of experience in advanced analytics and machine learning.
For the last four years, Ms. Bauthier has been building a new group to structure and implement a strategy for data, technology infrastructure, and automation for the global department, scaling the team by 300% over the prior year.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Ms. Bauthier worked as an Economist in Antitrust and Intellectual Property Litigation Consulting, where she specialized in big data analytics and predictive modeling for expert testimony, and as an early employee in the Fintech startup YipitData (which reached Unicorn status in 2021) creating KPI estimates for publicly traded companies.
All three positions have afforded a multi-industry view of financial metrics and valuation methodologies, as well as a proven track record of distilling actionable insights from big data. Ms. Bauthier brings these skills, in combination with her experience with growing new teams and companies, to Story House to solve market sizing questions, identify expansion opportunities, and support the Wyoming legislature’s push towards a film incentive.

Ms. Bauthier graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Pomona College and holds a certificate in Business Analytics from Northwestern. With a strong passion for education, she also instructs Data Analytics, Python, and Data Science classes for the technology and digital learning bootcamp Brainstation.
